For us, this is a beautiful and touching song. It reflects its author’s personality.

She is very sad and depressed for the problem of child abuse.

Firstly she appears very scared and she doesn’t do anything to feel better, in fact she lays emphasis on red, the color of many things: blood, passion, sin, pain and hate.

Besides, it is very touching the image of the first part, because she compares children to a Christmas ball, which is fragile.

During the song there is a crescendo of emotion because anger grows up and this is underlined by the music.

In the end she leaves her fears behind and has the courage to rebel: she says that, like an animal liberated from its cage, she is going to "leap up" and claim children’s rights.
